Andy’s my “shy guy”, but he still stopped by to let me know he wants to watch birds out the back window.
“OK?!” Andy asks, fully expecting a big no.
Sure, Andy! This is your home, too, and the computer desk is free.
Of course, once he was up there, he didn’t watch birds because he saw Dougy stopped by to let me know…
…he was coming around to play box, something he does happily and well. Dougy’s the b&w kitty, kind of straight forward and unapologetic about his wants and needs…
…and he looks pretty good in that box! Of course, he turned his head at the exact moment the shutter tripped because he saw Andy headed for the recliner. Uh oh! Time for a recliner challenge, which we know is classic kitty boy fun, too.
The collage below shows past challenges for the recliner.
Andy won, taking over the top of the recliner back as his prize! (He deployed “The Stare”, his famous stratagem that usually works against his brother Dougy! See it best in the bottom photo – Andy is on the arm, looking down on Dougy.)
They look really fluffy today!
Their hair grows out really fast, Dan!
(How’s the schoolwork doing? Hope you are feeling more motivated now.)
Yeah, I’m doing fine now. But I got out of school though 🙂
They get along so well. I envy all households that are not hissing havens.
Jean
I do appreciate having two kitty boys that get along!
dood…trust uz on thiz one; ewe due KNOT wanna watch burdz ~~~
😉 ♥♥
Depends of the bird. Owls are scary to kitties, but robins look good enough to eat!
That dougy has some really furry legs OMG!
The groomer doesn’t trim them much. The first time they got groomed, Andy was particularly cute because he looked like Jennifer Grey in “Footloose”” with his little “leggings”! It takes a little wait before he makes his big appearance, but you’ll see what I mean about those Jennifer Grey leggings – https://youtu.be/HqJEBfvmfaA
I love the second photo, really shows off Andy’s beautiful eyes.
I agree!
So, Andy isn’t so shy all the time, eh?!
No, he has his moments, though. If he walks by and you reach down to pet him, he tries to avoid the touch. On the other hand, if he hops on the recliner back when I’m in the recliner, I can reach up and pet him with no problem. Of course, he also is very sweet when you pick him up and cradle him for his medicine. Ort is it terrorized…I don’t know. LOL!
The kitties like attention on their own terms. Of course Lucio likes to come sleep on my head with his nose in my ear, purring loudly until he falls asleep. I don’t sleep until he does, but wouldn’t have it any other way. 🙂
LOL! Sounds like a lovely way to slip into sleep!
It’s when he drools from happiness that is the problem. 🙂
LOL! Cat drool used to be my standard for when I knew a kitty liked me.
there is something fur efurry buddy berd tv for andy and boxing day for doug… that’s what makes a house to a home right?
Makes it a mess, but, heck, one happy family, eh?!
