Andy had a busy New Year’s getting Doug (the human) up at 11 AM New Year’s Eve for “Kitty Food Time”. Then it was time to clean up!
“Kitty Food Time” went well, though only after too long a wait by Andy’s reckoning. Doug – the human one – had to wash a sink full of dishes to get to the kitty food dishes first…!

Kitty girls as well! Pyshka starts biting my legs when the bowl goes low.
My two pat my arfm or leg. Dougy finally figured out that I don’t appreciate claws on bare skin, and he gently pats my leg now, claws carefully retracted. Good kitty!
The Adorables are older and more mature. Pyshka is still a toddler and acts like one. Barmalei tries to teach her manners, but unfortunately, he is lacking in pedagogical skills, so she mainly ignores his tirades.
It comes with time, eh?! Cats learn a lot by example of their kitty elders, so there is some hope for Pyshka! (And, if she doesn’t, there’s always a good swat from Barmalei’s paw.)
Barmalei is quite refined; he doesn’t swat but only yells. It is quite annoying for middle age kitties to tolerate a toddler full of energy.
LOL! Yes, my first two catrs were that way, and Louie hissed at Freckles the first time they met, then acted shocked whern she “attacked” him later. Fortunately, they quickly became buddies.
Were they about the same age?
Louie was five-ish and Freckles was about three months old, maybe a bit older….
There was an age difference , but not that much, so they were able to get along.

Food and a nap are our two favourite things to do. Tyebe is still into biting as her favourite thing. Most things we own have teeth marks in them. How to tell these are ours….toothie marks. mol

That biting thing is something they tell us is kitty love…! LOL! Sure! (Andy sometimes gives me a light kitty bite, in a context thatr suggests there is something to that kitty love thing.) The kitty boys also like to chew magazines. I leave them on the floor for them after I’m done reading them, and one or the other kitties is on top of them in a blink of the eyes, They like to shove a paw between the pages because they know thjat’s where the mice hide. LOL! It’s cute when they do it
