In my experience all cats are intensely distrustful of things like canes! Ours used to run away in a panic when my husband had one for his knee surgery.
Interesting! Maybe it suggests a snake?
Andy never has to say anything – this look says it all, and he’ll keep it up until you do what he wants!
Yes, he does let me know with his expressions what’s in his little mind!

Considering that the little kitty (who is HUGE now) is firmly sitting on my foot and not letting me move, it is scary how they manipulate us!
Ha! Yes, who among us hasn’t waited for the kitty boy or girl to be tired of occupying some awkward position on us before we got up and did what we needed to do!?
LOL She is HEAVY, and all solid muscle.
Amazing, isn’t it? They seem all floofy and soft, but there is meat under it all, and it is powerful!
Oh yes, The Adorables look like they are all gorgeous fluff, but I am sure they are quite solid underneath.

That’s another good possibility for his reaction. The cane usually isn’t there.
Cats can get downright demanding about objects being removed from their special resting places. 🙂

Their groomer, Athena, and I decided to see what they looked like with their hair grown out and if I can manage mats by brushing. Andy isn’t used to brushing, though I’ve been working on that by brushing him while I have him in hand for his blood pressure medicine.
That face, he looks so put out! 🤭😻

maybe he thought it was such a super cane from old times with space for drinks inside but saw that it is empty?
