Has he had it always, or did it just appear? Barmalei is completely black, but he has 13 white hairs on his chest (I count them once in a while, to make sure he is not growing older). So far it is still 13.
I had a childhood dog that hav-d a beautifully white chest on a black base body color. He had seven white hairs on the tip of his tail.
Anyway, yes, the white hairs have been there from the start.

That’s what I like about most Persians! Some have kind of creepy, really huge eyes, but Dougy and Andy are within the pretty range.

Andy and Dougy will be eight on July 1st this summer. Hard to believe it’s been that many years sincve I first brought them into my life! The white in their coats is related to their being smoke Persian kitties, and has been there since they were young. Andy showed more white when he was a really little guy than Dougy did, but Dougy caught up with himn within their first year.
Louis Catorze is a little older: he will be 9 at the end of this month! His white hairs have increased noticeably lately. Gotta love these older gentlemen! 🖤
