Andy likes Doug (the human) to scritch him.
Danger zone! Lots of times, Andy attacks the hand that strays onto his right side, but only if he’s on his end table. This time, he doesn’t go cat on it…
…but he really, really, really wants to take that finger! (Yes, he nibbled it a little before Doug pulled it out of reach!)
Maybe he thinks that with all that fur, you won’t see him 😁
LOL! That makes sense! Of course, he gives off warning signs if I don’t ignore them.
Don’t bite the finger that scritches you, Andy!
I keep telling the little darling that!
Selective hearing is the privilege of all cats.
LOL! Fortunately, I know Andy and just how far I can push him before he chomps down on my finger.
Pyshka does that too: scritch, scritch, bite!
I really think his “problem” is how we played together when he was a kitten.
I don’t see that Andy has a problem. He bites; you are on the receiving end of it. Who has a problem, Doug?
Yeah, yeah – he’s the adorable one!
He IS – they both are!
You are their favorite human, of course!
Awww… But they don’t even know me! This is unrequited love, Doug.
Persian kitties are lovable lovers, you know!
I’ve heard that, but never had a Persian myself.
I recommend them if you are up to the high maintenance and housekeeping issues they cause.
So I gather, from you and also from a friend who has always had Persians, one after another.
(They hold us hostage, Dolly. “We know where you sleep. Tell the world how mild and sweet we are…OR ELSE!” Help!) “No, really, Andy. I wasn’t talking with anyone. Seriously, if I were, I’d just tell them what you told me to say.”
Oh, they hold us hostage by love – by being adorable!
It’s a plot for sure!
LOL
Andy love to be scritched but under his conditions .! Take care , Doug! 🙂
In friendship
Michel
Everyone who knows Andy knows to watch him closely because he is particular about time and place when it comes to loving him!
Don’t bite the hand that feeds you.
I keep telling him that…!
You really know your kitty boys!! 😻
Discretion is the better part of valor, as they say!
Lucio like to do that too, take the hand or finger scratching his chin! 🙂
But does that make it right? LOL! One really gets to know a cat’s preferences after a few rebuffs.
We try to discourage him, but he can’t seem to help himself. 🙂
I think I “trained” Andy to attack my hand when he was kitten and we played “got yer tummy”.
