Hard to say, but that may, well be the case.
Have you asked him how he feels about Baroque music?
He is very much in favor of it! He especially likes music with “tweety bird” range instruments playing, and the prodigious playing required in much of Baroque music means that “tweety bird” sound is common enough. I like to think he enjoys the same composers as I, but I think he is mostly an ensemble music fan since it isn’t as bombastic and loud. The means Berlioz is mostly out. Meow! (Oh well, a lot of Beethoven, too, of course, and others.)
Quite a refined music connoisseur – I mean Andy, of course. I suppose Vivaldi would be one of his favorites then.

LOL Andy! Our sister Lilah does that too!! She says NOPE with her back foot. She’s fluffy and black but not as fluffy as you are!
Andy gets really fluffy when his hair grows out, but he had a grooming session in early July.
My beige golden Persian Lady does that – and I do that – but she Never hurts 🙂 So … I am proud 🙂

Andy, you’re a sweet boy! You must care for Doug a lot. When I do that to Sunny, she swats my hand away with claws out! If I’m lucky, I get away with just a little scratch. Sometimes though, she draws blood! Take care, the both of you.
Same with my late tom – he first lifted his paw, then hit me with a no claw showing paw and if I went to his belly a third time, I only had myself to blame.
It must5 be part of the Kitty Cat Death Code of Deportment and Self Preservation from Loving Hands because it seems Andy’s response is not unique! Yes, he draws blood by claw and/or tooth if I ignore his obvious warnings. On the other hand (no pun intended) it is hard to resist petting him, he’s so soft and sweet.
Well, for all Andy’s instincts you know you might want to have a kitty sized snack.
It seems there is a pattern here we humans chose to ignore…at risk to life and limb! Andy in a small kitty but he responds to my hand like he is the biggest, baddest panther on the face of earth: RAWR!
