30Nov20: Andy and I play kitty games…

Rub-bah-dub-dub I rub my kitty boy’s head and back! Andy’d purr but then I’d know he really, really, really likes this!

“Well?!” Andy lets me know “Pissy Kat” is back, and “Pissy Kat” wants to be left alone.

“See! I can ignore you. In fact I am invisible to you!” (“Oh! Oh! Oh! Where did the kitty go!” Hee! Hee! I play along with Andy because it is fun and no harm comes of it.)

Andy checks to see if I’m still looking for an invisible kitty cat. “Oh! There’s Andy!” Hee! Hee! Hee! It is fun playing peek-a-boo with a kitty. Maybe I’ll rub his tummy next. I know that drives him nuts because he knows I know he knows I know that he knows that I know he likes it!

28Nov20: “Much better…!”

Andy’s snoozing the sleep of the pussy cat!

“What!? What!? What!?” Something disturbs Andy’s snooze.

Barely awake, Andy slowly…

…realizes it’s nothing!

He returns to the position of bliss. Much later, there he is, still blissed out!

27Nov20: “Don’t pet me!”

Andy is upset with Doug because he commits the unforgivable sin of petting him when he is on the end table.

So a move to the television stand seems a good idea. Then the news upsets Doug, who wonders what else is on the television. It’s a James Bond film – “Dr. No”! – on TCM, though it’s near the end. And the villain has a beautiful white kitty in his arms. Doug decides to watch it.

“What!? What!?” Andy moved here for peace and quiet! After lots of weapons fire, explosions,  and people diving off high places in the climax of the film, Andy wonders how he will ever get his 20 hours’ sleep today!

“Good grief! This is ridiculous!” Andy thinks. The world was a lot quieter before people!

Andy moves over to the ottoman. Maybe Doug will leave him alone now. Doug rubs Andy’s head and ears, which he tolerates but is NOT in the mood for!

“I know where you sleep!”

Speaking of which, Andy ends up where he started.

26Nov20: Andy won’t hold still…

Fuzzy… Moved his head!

Rats! Andy just isn’t holding still today!

=(^+^)=

It is difficult thinking about Thanksgiving this year when so many people will be lucky to have a meal. To the point it is possible, may you have a Happy Thanksgiving. Andy and I will stay at home and give thanks that we have survived this horrible year intact, unlike so many others, including our kitty and kitty brother Dougy.

25Nov20: Dream, dream, dream…

What’s Andy dreaming about?

He appears to be in REM sleep…

…because he hasn’t moved for some time except to breathe.

Ten to one he’s dreaming about caring for his precious!

24Nov20: “Kiss Me Deadly” ~ film noir pour le chat noir…

It looks like Andy is a film noir fan. He hasn’t taken his eyes of “Kiss Me Deadly” since it started!

It’s getting intense now! What do you think about this film, Andy?

Andy?

23Nov20: I have Andy’s number!

Andy is upset with me because I pet him when he didn’t want to be petted!

Silly cat…

…I have your number! Yes, the “dreaded” face and head rub.

It wipes out that cattitude business in a blink of the eye!

22Nov20: Dougy liked the recliner…

Facebook brought this memory up recently. I’d forgotten how much Dougy liked that recliner. I’d forgotten, too, how much silver showed up in his fur the longer it got. This is a sad but happy memory. I liked, too, how his beautiful eyes show up in natural color in this photo. He was a beautiful cat.
