Andy will be excited – a new newspaper came today.
“Yes, kitty boy, it arrived in today’s mail!”
Andy needs a moment to take the news in.
– Sniff! Sniff! – (Yes! It is true!)
“Hey! Let me read it first, Andrew!” (Letting Andy “look” at the newspaper was my first mistake.)
Nope, you’ll just have to wait your turn, Mr. Doug. Tee hee hee.
Yep!
I’m surprised he didn’t immediately sit on it
We had a little squabble about that! Andy was not happy with me for a time after i took that last photo.
I have always enjoyed photos of Andy “reading” newspapers and magazines. He has an intensely intelligent look about him, as if there really were some important news to be found.
Andy always strikes me as a professor in a kitty body…
He definitely comes through as an intellectual in your photos., Doug.
He is deliberate in everything he does, even play. His late brother, Dougy, would just jump into it, p[lay like a the devil, then Andy would join in.
Active brain behind this adorable face.
Absolutely! It is much more expressive than one might think possible for a cat with so much hair all over, too!
Come on, some bearded guys also have expressive faces; go look at yourself in the mirror (that’s what I tell my husband, too).
I try to limit mirror time…. LOL!
😻 Wise man!
dood….tell dad nothin good in de nooze any mor any way…..shred a way 🙂 !!
A fact.
Andy needs to thoroughly sniff all unfamiliar items . . . our kitties do that too!
Yes, his first response!
It is fun watching Andy having fun, especially when it is at your expense, LOL.
Hee! Hee! That Andrew…!
Kitties love taking in the news the old way – through the paper. 🙂
What mess, too!
I’ve never been to Nebraska, my neighbors are from your state. It’s cold up there!
Seventy-five and sunny at the moment, with a further six degrees more predicted for today. On the other hand, winters are brutal!
Yes they are, in Michigan too. I guess your getting some unusually hot weather up there soon.
Today for example!
oh you are interested in rodeos? we too… but we sadly don’t have them here..
We do have them in many communities in Nebraska, including mine. I’m not a big fan of them, but they can be very entertaining. Family members have been involved in rodeoing – bull riding seems to be the one most attractive to those family members who rodeo, for reasons known to them!
We hear ya: https://louiscatorze.com/2016/08/28/la-liberte-de-la-presse/
LOL! I enjoyed – and could relate to – your post! I highly recomme3nd anyone reading these comments check out your version of cat-on-newspaper!
I wonder what it is? Is it the feel of the paper? Or just keenness to be involved in what we’re doing?
I’m clueless, unless they like the crinkly feel and sound.
Maybe you should try the tactic of the decoy paper and see if Andy’s creepy kitty sixth sense still draws him to the one you want to read.
I think it would! LOL!
Curiosity definitely figures in, and I think the crinkly nature of newsprint intrigues kitties, too.
