Alert! Andy sees…
…a tiny spider!
He takes measure of the effort to catch the spider…
…and decides…
…it’s too much effort for too little gain! So, he…
…goes for Plan B!

I would’ve done the same, too, Andy. Tummy tickles.
Any self respecting kitty boy or girl would!
Smart kitty. Some things just aren’t worth the effort
For sure!
Plan ‘B’,
Sonds good to me!
Hehehe!
He took it to Plan C, a nap! (Always glad to have evidence you are still on line, if in a limited way, Gerry!)
Oh my! So it’s still there?
I hope not!
A sensible Plan B, and not entirely unexpected!
Plan C involves sleep, of course!
Our two furries, Max & Quicha are spider stalkers. Thankful they can find them and we can move in for the kill.
Andy (and his late brother Dougy) just patticakes them to death and moves on when they stop moving. Such a cat!
The nap options always seems to win out.
It works for me, too!
A spider 🕷 has 8 legs to crunch ❗️ Our staple bug of choice, crickets only have 6 leg, but heavens their crunchy 😸
Andy and his late brother both preferred crickets, too, though millers were high on their “fun to kill-kill-kill” list. Andy and I spotted our first miller of the year this morning. He’s begun the hunt, though the miller is hiding somewhere for the moment.
I’ll have to google ‘Miller’ ❓
Oh Wow We got yellow ‘bug lights’ on the front and back door so we very seldom get a moth in the house, maybe the soil under the house has to much Naphthalene (moth balls) in it 😉
I live close to the country, which is my sense of why I see so many of them in a typical year. They haven’t been as common this year, which is fine with me.
It’s the army cutworm, which in its adult form is called a miller.

With all the lazing about all day/night,It’s amazing that cats do not seem to get fat!
Unless you have a kitty treadmill your not showing us?
Andy keeps fit by occasional “zoomies”, where he tears through the apartment at cat high speed, then, after a little snack and a drink of water, he lazes. It seems to work for him. He also eats just what he needs. I have to be careful to anticipate how much of his wet food (prescription and very pricey!) he wants because he will leave a lot or all of it if he’s hit the dry food or treats earlier. As a neutered male, he beats the odds of getting fat. I guess it’s a matter of the human watching the pet’s dietary needs and much as the pet being active that keeps it fit and trim. His late brother was the same way. I guess part of it is they never suffered food shortages so don’t have anxiety that leads to over eating.
I thought about buying one of those really expensive cat exercise wheels people with highly active cats get. After checking the price – Amazon has them from $269-$600 – I decided the last thing the kitty boys needed was a cat exercise wheels they didn’t use! Persians tend not to be that active compared with Bengals, for example. Also, reading reviews of the wheels, there are a lot of quality issues with the “affordable” ones.
I thought about one of those wheels too, but Nod is probably the only one who might use it.
It was tempting! The cheaper ones require putting several smaller pieces of the track together to create the circle, and reviews suggested you’d be better chasing you cat with a broom because of assembly issues.
Well you certainly take care of him Doug!
His current crop of kitty grass is tall enough as of today to give him some. He ate several pieces for breakfast. I left it by his daytime post in case he wants to help himself.
kitty grass? You go outside and rip a handful of grass off and bring it in for him?
I have done that, but the grass in the video I dug up at the side of the side walk and planted to bring inside. The new grass I planted from seed. It is specifically meant for kitties, unlike the grass in the yard, and I can be sure it isn’t contaminated with weed killer or, for that matter, weeds that might be harmful to cats.
Andy appreciates it I bet!
He does. Good kitty!
You were both alert
Jane Goodall is my inspiration. LOL!
Had spider this morning, it was getting too comfortable, liunging on my sofa. Too vad Kessy saw it and decided to go for it. I finished it off, too many of those in my flat.
Lounging😁
I read somewhere one should leave them alone because they help control insects that manage to get in the house., I prefer to have a kitty take care of unwanted insects! LOL! I see you have the same approach. If I could see the tiny spider he was after, I would squash it in a flash.
There are too many of them. If I would not go after them, cobwebs would cover everything in my flat!
Same here! Dang things! There re enough cobwebs as it is.
One spider is too many in my mind.
we agree… plan b is to call the humans who have to remove spiderman immediately ;O)
Yeah, remove it in a crumpled up smear inside a paper towel or tissue!
