There’s something discouraging about not getting a cat to play
Yeah, though he eventually gets in the spirit of play. Andy has a specific prey method, which requires presenting the toy to him in a way that mimics his presumed prey. If I hide it in a newspaper or magazine, he attacks and KILL! KILL! KILLS! it!
He’s just not in the mood, very female-like. 😂
That’s why Dog is Man’s Best Friend and Cats are Woman’s….At least for me!
I think men can be cat-centric, too. I find myself rough housing with the ones I’ve had over the years, and I think FI would be perfect for a Maine Coon kitty!
I love cats but don’t have one or two because of the expensive breakables in my home such as authentic Navajo pottery.
You can train them. One word of advice though. Don’t get a Calico!
I found that the Calico my ex had was not a good cat, always angry and trying to draw blood. Bad cat!
They can be that way, for sure.
I prefer tabby cats, especially ginger tabbies, though Andy and the late Dougy are/were smoke Persians, which turn out to be really nice kitties, too.
I understand completely! I learned a long time ago you shouldn’t have nice things if you want to have kitties, too.
