Andy doesn’t react to the floppy carrot today.
I draw it across him.
I flop it around him.
I guess it’s time to put the floppy carrot away for now.

Do you spray toys with catnip when Andy loses interest?
I don’t have any of that at the moment, but it sounds like it would help.
It does for us. My grandson is in charge of that process.
Andy has spoken. 🙂
…and he’s the cat!
Well, Andy might like the floppy carrot again if you put it away for awhile …
That’s what I’ll do.
Maybe some catnip would get Andy fired up?
At some point the tiny catnip plant will be large enough to start harvesting leaves, and that’s a good thought on what to do with this toy!
Thanks, Doug. The stuff grew wild around my backyard in Michigan.
I’ve had good-sized patches in past but the plants I had been harvesting suffered a catastrophic failure of some sort, all but one dead for some reason. The lone survivor is thriving in my window, growing nicely, but still too small to handle daily harvests of one or two leaves.
The stuff grew wild around the edges of my Michigan backyard!
Andy expects some catnip wrapped around the “carrot”, Doug.

He definitely would enjoy that!
Can opener and toy waver extraordinaire!
One tries!
He is telling you – with determination
That’s his way, all right! Andy doesn’t suffer fools and can openers (my profession as far as he’s concerned) lightly.
Can opener – I like
I guarantee Andy especially likes that quality in me! He is a big foodie, though he isn’t a ft cat.
