Andy’s upset about me medicating him.
He’s refusing to play and staying away from me under the recliner footrest.

Cats and meds never get along; we are familiar with it.
though it may take some effort to catch him sometimes, he is amazingly compliant when I put the medicine in his eyes and ears. I have had to wrap him in a towel most days.
Towel wrapping does not work with Pyshka because she is heavy and lightning fast. She needs to be caught when she comes up on the counter to get her morning treat. The other too are more compliant.
That was the late Dougy! Fortunately for me, Andy is mild-mannered

I hope he eventually gets used to it and that he feels better after I do it.
He can’t resist the carrot toy, even after medication! 🙂 He will get used to it Doug. Medicines in or on the ear were never favorites of my kitties, either
As long as you are Keeper of the Carrot, Andy will have to tolerate your presence.
Not to mention “opener of the kitty food containers”…!
Aww, hopefully Andy will grow more used to the medication soon.
He seems to be getting there. The eye medication seems to make his eye goop more liquid and I think I’m going to have to start helping him clean up around his eys.
Clancy, the Grey Menace, would attack before and after medication. I guess he figured that he was going to suffer you would too. And being that he drew blood, you did suffer. It seems that Andy is a gentler cat.
He rappels off me after medicating. Sometimes I get some scratches on my arms or chest, but he hasn’t been aggressively uncooperative when I catch him. IR definitely appreciate that!

He’s getting used to it, I think, which makes me think it must feel good.
