03Jan23: a nice head rub…

Does Andy enjoy a nice head rub?

“Oh yes! Oh yes!” >Purr! Purr! Purr!<

Now my kitty sleeps.

Do you remember Tashi the Bombay kitty, new kitty at my friend Deborah’s home? Well, Tashi now has a page on Facebook! To see what’s there to see and to follow Tashi’s new adventures from the start, here’s a link:

Just when the last snow was melting – even the drift on the south and under my car! – the weather report yesterday was more to come. Six inches/ 15,24 cm to 12 inches/ 30,48 cm more snow predicted, but it didn’t come in blizzard form, a small blessing.

  1. Stay safe and warm, Doug and Andy! Give our best to Deborah and Tashi.

It was 30 degrees here this morning, with rain on the way this afternoon. Almost overcast now. Sunrise was beautiful though!

  2. Be very careful, Doug! After being under a potential flood alert over the weekend, my county is now looking at another storm coming on Wednesday. We needed the rain in California, but not all at once, with the creeks and rivers overflowing! They’re also predicting high winds, so I need to keep the flashlight and emergency lanterns ready. (We lost the power for an hour on New Year’s Eve. No live watch of the ball dropping in Times Square for us!) Hope you’re prepared as well, or at least have someone to look in on you while the snow is falling. Take care.
