The scenes from Turkey and Syria continue to tear at one’s heart. It is encouraging that anyone’s still alive in the rubble, waiting to be discovered and freed. It is encouraging that so many countries have sent teams to join in the search. Even Ukraine sent a team. I understand that the Turkish government has taken criticism for not sorting things out faster, though the magnitude of the disaster is so great one wonders if any government can be prepared for such devastation. Over 24,000 dead as of the last report.
Andy has a good daily routine.
The human toll from this earthquake has been enormous. I have not heard any animal stories emerge from it yet, though I imagine the fatalities are there, too. My heart goes out to all.
It is unimaginable..
So terrible, unfair – and more during winter, so cold, with snow. A baby newborn has survived, not the mother. Love, not war.
Amitiés – caresses pour Andy more and more beautiful
Yes, add winter cold to this tragedy and it has to be even more treach4ous even for those surviving in tents.
Andy has a great schedule in my opinion! ❤️🐈❤️
It works for him!
Cute pictures of Andy! It’s terribly sad about the earthquake in Turkey and Syria. Many hopes they can quickly get to everyone in need of rescue there.
Thanks! He’s a great subject.
zi can’t imagine how sad the people of the earthquake zone are now, so many people lost.
The earth quake in Turkey and Syria is terrible, just now over 24 000 dead. Those people have lost everything, they had to leave their homes at night, just ran out. How difficult it is to start to live there again.
Bitter cold is the next challenge for those who’ve lost their homes.
It is a disaster hat anyone has to live on that fault line.
Historic places were laid to waste by earthquakes in this same area, and there’s always volcanos in the Mediterranean area to complicate lives.
They say it’s basically identical to the San Andres fault, where I live. The big quakes are rare (I’ve been through several without damage) and a great quake is overdue. I’m the only person I know who actually has a quake kit (2 actually – 1 in car, 1 in home).
One can’t be too prepared for disasters, so you get kudos for making the effort.
Thx!
