Andy does that, too. I used to have a digital camera that required flash in a lot of photos, so Andy got used to that bright light, rather didn’t, so he flinches and turn his head when he knows I’m about to take a photo. I routinely delete lots of photos for that reason and consider front-faced photos a happy accident!
Of course! Now it seems obvious. Anyway, he oftentimes gets a drink of water before coming over to me. He has that short Persian face, so his ruff dips into the water fountain when he gets a drink.
Sometimes they are just grumpy!
