Andy anticipates a visit, so he cleans up.“Where is he?”There’s Bret!Strawberry rolls and coffee……and Andy mugs for coffee. The banana was a nice touch here, too.Andy stopped by to visit Bret……then stopped by the blue carrier to figure out what to do next.
What? He walked right past Bret and stopped by Doug’s closed bedroom door. He wanted to go in there to watch birdies out of the bedroom window.

I hadn’t made my bed, so closing the door was a simpler solution to a mess!

We’ve had a week of rain, leaving everything fresh and green. I’ve always liked this time of year for the rain and cool weather.
The birds enjoy the pools of water that form on the lane. Andy enjoys the birds that enjoy the pools of water, as you can imagine.

On a day with light rain, it’s fun to take a short drive east of town to the Nebraska Sandhills, a major cattle raising part of the state. In historic times, millions of bison thrived on this grassland.Lakeside, Nebraska, was named that because it’s located next to a lake, this lake. LOL!One of hundreds of lakes and ponds in the Nebraska Sandhills, this lake is breeding grounds for shore birds, puddle ducks, and assorted birds associated with this type of habitat.Any time you see trees in the Sandhills, someone probably planted it or a bird or animal deposited a seed in poop.Back home again. This where I worked for nearly 36 years, Parker Hannifin.

Ignore everything from here down! Jetpack won’t let me delete this crap.
