A surely! Just because it might be something that is there’s to be interested in! I still remember the first moment I let Louie the ginger kitty out of the carrier when I brought him home from the shelter. He immediately walked over to the cabinets in the kitchen and opened every one. Before his first half hour home was over, he’d examined every room and cabinet in the apartment!
I agree! Being an indoor kitty, he needs to have interesting things happen or be available. I know people would have problems with home on the table, but I never put food or table ware on the surface. I also sanitize the surface as needed. Kitties have cute feet and long haired kitties supposedly don’t leave “circles” when they sit, but it’s better to assume they aren’t sterile surfaces! LOL!
I like Andy doing it since indoor kitties miss out on the “fun” of disease, killing birds, and being run over, but they still need thst stimulation. That’s also why I grow Andy catnip.
