Another day, another, well, day.Andy’s watching the guest bedroom door. How, um, well, “open”. Not much happening there.Looking at the wall. Not anything exciting there, either. Usually, I can count on a spider or big bug to show up….Then, there’s always Doug. If I stare long enough, he’ll toss some Greenies on the lapboard. Hey, Doug! What’s the lump status on your banged up head?Well, Andrew, looks like there are still a couple big’uns there. My head must have hit the bricks, then bounced to get that result! Alternative theory: There are large spaces worn between these bricks put down in 1922. I hit two bricks when I fell. Ick! They don’t hurt if I don’t touch them. (THEN DON’T TOUCH THEM, DUMMY!)

It hurts more that the tax preparer brought the problems to the city more than once and it continues to cause human suffering. They won’t lije to hear what I have to say about institutions, money, and parsimonious rejections of corrective actions till someone is maimed for life or killed. I’ve worked in a place where a stretch wrapper gave off shocks when touched in one place. It was ignored when an employee reported it (one of more than one reports by different people). Ignored, one employee reported it to the feds. When they reviewed the complaint, they verified the shock hazard, but found another violation in a way hose was coiled with an electrified ceiling box. They had to go back to the unelectrified method, which was tiring and unpopular. On top of it, there was a $30,000+ fine.
It would have been easier and cheaper to just fix the problem!
Doug meant to say something to you yesterday about that…hoping that you were seeing ~ feeling improvement with the head lump(s)… yes, hoping that is not causing distress… and that it heals quickly. We can see dear Andy is keeping watchful eye on you… as well as his Greenies…

Fortunately, it didn’t hurt that much. I was given an ice pack at the emergency room, and that took care of a lot of the worse of it.

Ouch! You need to start wearing a helmet in the winter.
This was on a warm day, no ice or slow. The helmet isn’t out of the realm of reason….
