I’m sorry Andy. I finally found – I hope – your previous kitty food that you liked. Sadly, it won’t arrive here till next Tuesday.I think Andy’s bored with dry food.Yes, even Greenies! He’s had to make Doug with dry because [famous pet supply place that should defined their products a lot clearer] sent Andy 24 cans of this weird cat food for seniors that looks like dry cat food in gravy
=(^+^)=
Yum?I put an amount Andy might eat on the plate. After all those Greenies, I don’t think it’ll be much.Gotta mush it down so Andy doesn’t choke on big chunks.A bit of water to hydrate/dilute the mess helps mush it down. Then I zap it for a few seconds since it was refrigerated.“Andy! Kitty food!”What a little hero! He doesn’t finish it, but he licks that slop up!

I prefer his wet food be straight protein from meat. This mistake shipment looks to be cubes of meat and grain products. He eats a lot of dry food like that, so any food more natural for a cat is better in my mind
Once the pate-style chicken wet food arrived on Saturday, he really cleaned that up! I’ve had to give him bigger servings than before, so that seems to be a goid endorsement!
Doug, just thinking how my husband and i… who are older.. old!! are finding less and less appetite as time goes on… certainly not what we once had as in three meals a day… snacks in between… now almost forcing ourselves to have two meals a day… and those being smaller and smaller meals… and then thinking of dear Andy, who just like humans, must get bored with food … i know our kitties here are professional ‘snubbers’.. Bless you for trying always to make his meals a nice pleasure for him!! By the way, that danish Bret brought the other day, that looked very appetizing!!!
As long as he eats some, it’s all good. My cats are fussy too. Gus can’t have fish which seems to be in all foods these days. They don’t like the healthy stuff! They like cat versions of nachos and doritos!
It’s good seeing Andy eating, Doug. I hope it’s good for him.

Glad he liked the food! I’ll bet he’ll like it tomorrow, too.
He had to eat something till the pate-style chicken food he’s expecting came on Saturday.

They always love the gravy! 🙂
Yep! And usually leave the chunks.

I’ve wondered about that, too. I know I have the same food aversion you mention.

Well, you know of Andy’s love of Greenies..
!
Doug
Are doing OK Buddy 😢 ❓
I hope you are, but I’m going through some health issues.
Doug
Good work trying to make Andy’s food easier for him to lap up and consume with a little chomping! And good for Andy for giving it a try!
Maybe it reminds him of Greenies!
Doug
Well done
Anything for the kitteh!
