No doubt about it, sometimes I neglect my kitties to watch an old movie on television. It’s one of my vices!
Dougy tries to understand this obsession, even to the point of watching along with me. He doesn’t, however, get it. “You mean this is more important to you than kitties??”
=(^+^)=

Dougy watches along with me.

I think Dougy might be coming over to my side: Old movies are fun!

He’s having some second thoughts!

“You kidding??” Dougy can’t believe this is more important than kitties!

“Jeez!” Yep, Dougy is incredulous!
Perhaps you should try “Bell, Book and Candle.” The cat has a prominent role
Or “Breakfast at Tiffany’s”. Both are favorite old movies of mine!
Poor Dougy is trying to understand your obsession with old movies! How could you not want to pay attention to him and watch that instead? 🙂
Our three boy cats love to watch movies, and come up on the couch. All we have to say is “Movie night!”.
Willow used to watch TV with Rick’s mother, and I swear was passing her the answers to Jeopardy. 🙂
LOL! I suspect we’d do better with old movies if we watched from a couch instead of a recliner or glider. There is room for three of us on the recliner so long as two of the threee behave!
Dougy has a fan now
LOL! I’ll let him know!
😍
Maybe he would prefer Animal Planet 🙂
One would think….!
This looks like a Kali reaction to movies. Shoko is right in there. she loves Psycho and some treats. She is a couch kitty.
Jean
Dougy usually ignores it and Andy seems to be watching it, but not too closely.
Snorts with piggy laughter. Maybe a scratch here or two behind the ears and a cat treat every once in a while and he may forgive you. I’m just talking from anipal point of view sweet friend. XOXO – Bacon
I don’t know…! He likes the ones with Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers because they move around a lot, but that’s about it!
Those were the perfect classics. I can see that. XOXO – Bacon
Oh yeah! I’m a Nebraskan and Fred Astaire was from Omaha. That always kind of amazes me, too, though the grace and beauty of the two dancing is a wonder as well. My favorite was their screen debut in “Flying Down to Rio”, where they danced the Carioca. TOO MUCH!

aaww such beauty and grace – such a wonderful period in time for sure. My hooves just don’t allow me to move like that unfortunately. XOXO – Bacon
You do know Hollywood dancers are known colloquially as “hoofers”, don’t you…..? Perhaps you can dance more than you think!
Hey-hey-hey I might just have a chance then. Thanks my friend for the insight! XOXO – Bacon
Until you try, you never know, and maybe your delicate feet will create a new art form!
Lots of wonderful moves then, extravaganzas for sure!
Tell Dougy he got a chorus of agreement from the gang here. I am an old movie fan too. I am also an old time radio fan, that way I can entertain myself and get things done. They like that even less because of course I am not sitting where I can pet them.
Yes, that drives Dougy nuts, too, if I’m not available to “scritch” him!
Hello, weggie- Dougy is thinking : I am much more interesting – you must only take care of me ! – amitiés – france 🙂
Yes, he has his priorities, and it starts with Douglas James Thomas, our Dougy!
