The wound care person is very good and got me into a pair of compression socks that are comfortable yet efficacious.
My dry weight after dialysis dropped below 100 kilos for the first time ever! I feel (physically) the best I have on years.
It’s nice being able to put my shoes on without a tussle!

I make myself handy by pushing the door openers along this walk and inside the entrance. I would hate to be the bus driver pushing me up this small hill!

Yesterday, one new rider turned out to be my old friend Robert and younger brother of my friend Larry. We caught up on things, yelling at each other over the noisy bus. It was a fun ride!
It amazes me how I can live in a small town and never cross paths with old friends who also live here.

Next week, I have appointments here and in Scottsbluff every day. Ugh!
The problem of not being able to attend my Class of my 1966 lunch Friday is taken care of, sadly, because our hostess called it off due to being ill. Best wishes for quick recovery, Donna.

Good to hear you are feeling well.
I am glad you are feeling better. Sorry your dinner was canceled.
Glad you are getting some relief in your PT and treatments !
Doug, very glad you are able to get thru all of the appointments so well… we know at our little more ‘advanced ages’… yiiikes!! it is a bit harder on us than when we were living decades ago… Am sure Andy is rooting for you to return home soon… as are your friends here. Hoping your friend Donna recuperates quickly and back to the nice plans of Class of ’66 lunch…
The HandiBus is a great thing, and it sounds like you are doing much better. I hope you are able to see Donna, Tootsie and your old friends and classmates for lunch again soon.
Getting two appointments done in one day is efficient, I guess, Doug. I hope things go well for you.
You have lots going on. I hate weeks with a lot of appointments. They just seem to fall like that.
Lets hope next weeks appointments go as well
Whew, kind of a head-spinning schedule! Sounds like they’re really keeping you busy! We hope your friend Donna recovers quickly!
Yes, very tiring.
Doug
Next week, I have one or two appointments every day
