Eighty-eight years ago, on June 12th, 1937, my mother and father got married.

They had four children, of which I am the last born.

I didn’t find that post to be sad. Just factual. And I, also, am youngest of four.

They totaled five years as a couple and 71 of marriage. Mom, who was two years older than Dad, said she had to wait till he was 21 before they could marry.
