Andy had the apartment to himself. Not for as long as he expected, though.I managed to get to my appointment an hour early. That made me happy because they went ahead and did two catscans early, too.For that reason, I was able to get back home at noon instead of an anticipated 2 pm or so!Even though the imaging section of the hospital was at the end of a maze, things went relatively smoothly for a first time at this hospital.Andy knew differently since Doug shared how he saw the Fairmont Boulevard sign but still had to take two swing-a-rounds to finally get onto this road to the hospital and there were several screwups once on the hospital grounds. We’ll know better next time!

Absolutely! It rarely works out that way. Since it involved that five hour round trip, it was especially appreciated that it turned out the way it did.
Yes, though the five hour round trip was a lot since the same thing could have been done locally, the Rapid City hospital did get me in and out in record time. I barely got my smartphone out to answer comments on my blogs when they came to take me to have the catscans.

Yes, unless I have to make any new ones in July, Andy gets the next appointment. Wait…I need to get a blood draw on the first of July for a cANCA measure. Oh well. That one is fast and simple in my local hospital.
For cool 😎 a map. the VAMC’s in Mpls, Des Moines, and Mountain Home Tennessee have colored tape on the floor next to the wall ya have to follow 😉 Back in the early 60’s visiting my uncle , that was there for 20+ yrs with MS, My brother and I used to say follow the yellow brick road, whilst following the yellow tape !Mama did not care for us disrespecting her decorated WWII veteran brother 🇺🇸
A navigator might help, too! Of course,a built in electronic one is possible, but I didn’t get that feature because I don’t need it often enough to justify the feature.
It always amazes me that no matter what I need at a new hospital, it is always in a different section from where I park. 🙂
Gad! Isn’t that the trith!? And it seems the place I need to go is the farthest from where I’m parked of any other place I might go.

It is always good to get an appointment over with early and get home.

Glad you made good time.
Me, too! It was great having it all over by noon.

I love when they can take you in early if you get there early.
Me, too, Kate! It happens too rarely!

It’s good that the catscans were done ahead of schedule, Doug.

Bet Andy welcomed you back, Doug. Another visit over. Is it Andy for the next one, with his caring vet? Cheers.

That strikes me as a smarter way to get people from here to there in hospitals.

They’ve changed everything around at hospitals near us, too … Glad that’s over now and yay for a faster overall trip. Cute Andy pics!
I should be a pro.at navigating hospitals by now, but I even get turned around in the ones I’m most familiar with.

Such is the way with our hospitals, too
