During the day, squirrels and birds come around to entertain Andy. I suppose people and traffic on the lane might interest him as well.
At night, it’s cottontail bunnies for entertainment.
All windows have entertainment value, of course, and I put the walker I use outside by the front door, giving Andy a platform to watch the scene through the door window.
And for cats, reading the incoming air currents is like reading the newspaper. 🙂
Yes! Andy likes to position himself by the bottom of the front door for the crack there that let’s him do just that!

Our one window has an opener like that which is covered with chew marks. Evidently windows are better when open. Just can’t figure out how the “big cat” does it.
I have to leave windows closed because Andy gets excited and climbs the screen. One screen tends to pop out when he does this. While I don’t think he’d try to jump outside, the risk is there.

There is always something going on outside the window. We humans don’t notice it like cats do.
Andy definitely seconds that observation, Charles!

It’s nice that Andy is entertained by movement outside.
Yes, he reacts to sounds outside as well as visual.

Fascinating
I suppose a great horned owl might be part of the night crew, too.
