20Nov25: a busy day…

Andy was happy…
…to see Bret had come over!
Bret and Doug enjoyed a cherry pie cheesecake with their coffee.
“It’s a small cheesecake,” opined Doug as he served the second piece.
Andy sharpened his “murder mittens” in the meantime.
He spotted a bug by the door and dealt with it.
That warranted a pause in his day.
Much later – after Doug’s afternoon nap -…
…Andy had an ice cube nightcap!
Andy could decide which was his favorite time of the day: Bret’s visit, sharpening his “murder mittens”, hunting the bug, taking multiple rests and naps, or his ice  cube nightcap.
It was a busy day.

19Nov25: all day…

Some days…
…Andy and I sleep more than anything.
Later, Bret was coming over for coffee and cheesecake.
Better be rested up!
“Wake up, Andy!”
This is going to take a while.
Progress!
Ready for company!
Maybe not.
I guess Andy was up all night.

18Nov25: nice ice…

Andy knows there’s ice in his future.
He hears me open the freezer door.
He hears me knock the ice tray on the counter to loosen the cubes.
He sees the plastic mug in my hand, the ice clinking softly as I move toward the front room.
Yes, the ice is refreshing when he eventually gets the mug, but he has to stop licking to let his tongue warm up!
Enough’s enough.
A quick clean up, then…
…the catnap.
Later, maybe a little television.

=(^+^)=

Andy had a more satisfying catnap once I moved the mug off the ottoman.

17Nov25: cat…

Andy hurried into the front room.
Of course, Andy popped in when he heard the biography on television was of Cat Stevens.

=(^+^)=

I hated to break it to Andy that “Cat Stevens” wasn’t a cat.

=(^+^)=

Andy figured it out on his own.
Yeah, take a catnap.

16Nov25: trapped…

When Andy stopped by…
…he had his Andy-specific agenda.
“What! What! What!”
And Doug had his.
“Ugh!”
“Don’t pet me!”
Eventually, Andy gave in.
Purr! Purr!
Of course, it all ends in a you-know-what. Shhh!

15Nov25: Addictive!

The sweet, sleepy boy.
The crazed “boop” addict!
“Don’t do it, Doug!”
Boop!
Boop!

=(^+^)=

Andy eventually thwarts the “boops” addict.

Boopery is addictive. It’s best never to start, but once you do… you are chained to the habit for life.

14Nov25: What’s on, Doug?

Andy just walked in.
He was hoping to see something interesting on television. A bird program, maybe. String dancing across the screen. An old movie with trains, perhaps.
Ugh! Just the news.
Andy is protesting my choice of programming.
I’m sorry, kitteh! Let me give you a little loving till something more kitty-appropriate comes on!
In the meantime, enjoy some Greenies.
Andy’s content now!
No surprise here: time for a catnap.

13Nov25: Andy makes his appearance…

Bret brought the Wednesday pastry over Wednesday morning, per our habit. Andy…
…made an appearance.
Bret was able to…
…touch the noble beast, briefly.
Then Andy stared briefly at…
Doug.
Too much!
He jogged over to the door to check for birds, cottontail bunnies, or squirrels. That was his first plan anyway. Important kitty business comes before social niceties!

12Nov25: day off…

I keep saying I’m going to do it. This is it: “weggieboy’s blog” is taking today off. See you again tomorrow!

11Nov25: afternoon refreshment…

Andy has something on his mind.
Yes, Doug just shared some ice with his kitteh!
Andy licked his fill..
…then…
…had to clean up.
Finished…
…it was time to rest. A nap surely came later!
