Andy finally stopped by.He wasn’t interested in treats. My guess was “the tail!” He enjoys a massage there. What else?Oh yeah! Basic petting works.Until he became interested in television. That was short!Thinking….Yes! Bath time for Andy! The foot. The chest is harder but Andy manages.Naptime under the warmth of the table lamp…a kitty’s delight!

…a “boop” in the dark….My father died before I became a kitty daddy. My mother “met” Louie the ginger kitty, though she thought he was a cheetah because of his size. She met Andy and Dougy when they were kittens. Dougy had to explore her room at the care center. If I hadn’t closed the door, he would have wandered everywhere in the building. He was an explorer kitty! Andy, on the other hand, wouldn’t have any of that. I took them to see my mother in a pet carrier that was a stroller. Andy chose to hop on top of that, and stay there till time to leave. That’s my parents in the photo in the photo. All this reminiscing tired Andy out!

Yes, it lacks a hanger on back and I never get around to finding one for that photo. At this point, I have so many pictures on the wall, I don’t know where I’d hang it anyway!
Nice picture of your parents, Doug. Good that your Mom got to meet your kitties, sorry that your Dad did not. I wish my Mom could have met the kitties we have now.
Andy and Dougy eventually got on her lap and slept between her legs! LOL! It was a cute moment that pleased Mom, too. Of course, the kitty boys were very cute anyway.
I am glad you mother got to meet the kitties, Doug. Yes, reminiscing can be hard work, and tiring.
I’m surprised they let the cats visit. Most facilities allow dogs but not cats.
I always say if I have to go to a nursing home, I want one with pets. Great therapy!
That was a good snippet about your parents, especially as we often see the picture
