  1. and went to sleep. They informed me at 1:03 a.m. Dallas time that he passed away 11:41 p.m. Nebraska time. Dougy and I became much closer in our old age and joked about being orphans as we were the only 2 left in our family. Now I’m it.

    • I wrote a lengthy comment about Doug but only the end showed up. His obituary is online…Douglas George Thomas, Alliance, NE
      Sister Kathy Fladmoe

    • Ohhh my goodness i am so sorry to learn that our dear friend Doug has passed on… i did wonder when so many days with no word from Doug, but had hoped that he was yet recuperating. He has a nice little community family here and we will each one miss him so much. Thank you for letting us know that Doug has passed; our loving thots and prayers remain ever with Doug and Andy, with you his sister and niece. God bless our dear Doug and Andy, and each of his family.

  2. Glad to hear you are doing better, Doug! Hope someone is able to find your glasses and bring them to you.

Always good to see pictures of Andy, too, and know he is being well taken care of while you are away. I am sure he misses you, too!

  3. I hope they aren’t waking you at 3 am. for a nightly blood check! I remember during my last hospital stay the phlebotomist waking me up to plunge a needle into my weary veins. For some reason I said to her “Thank you.” But I remember going right back to sleep after that, I was so tired. They don’t leave you alone much! Hugs for Andy, who must be wondering where his human has gone off to!

  4. Yes!! Looking better Doug.. and thankful you are feeling better… Andy and you will soon be under the same roof… and all will be right with the world!
