I finally see the oncologist today. This process to deal with the breast cancer seems to have taken a long time. More details as I learn about them.

I am glad Andy finally got to meet the angels from the dialysis staff that helped you with the oxygen canister exchange!
Hope all went well at your appointment, and you will have as easy a time as is humanly possible going forward with treatment. Thoughts and prayers are with you always.
We share photos of our pets, so Andy id “known” in the abstract. Tori has several cats and dogs, so I knew Andy would be a good kitty around her!
The dialysis staff and patients are a little family in many ways!

I hope your appointment went well.
It was very productive. I wrote about it in the 07Feb26 post.
Doug
How kind of her to deal with the oxygen canisters. Praying you can remove the cancer with minimal discomfort.
I can’t emphasize how important it is to have positivity in one’s life when dealing with chronic and potentially fatal disease. I feel very good about the dialysis staff for the positivity the bring into patients’ lives!

What wonderful friends you have in Tori and her husband… and their kindness to you and Andy prompted me to find these great quotes … “When a man loves cats, I am his friend and comrade, without further introduction.” — Mark Twain… “If you would know a man, observe how he treats a cat.” — Robert Heinlein… So glad all went well for you Doug… and Andy is looking well… The best to you both…
Excellent quotes! I think they apply to all animal-human contacts. Thanks!
Doug
Good luck today. I hope the treatment is easy on you.
You can judge a person by how your cat feels about them.
Absolutely!
Doug
I wish you well
Thanks, Derrick!
Doug
how sweet she was with your boy… hugs and all fingers crossed for the doc appointment
Tori has several cars and dogs, so Andy was very comfortable with her. I share pet photos with her,of course, so I wanted her to get to meet Andy.
Doug
Oh I bet it was exciting indeed for Tori to meet Andy! And so much better for you to have the empty bottles out of the way. Medical stuff does take a long time these days; we’re hoping for good news.
Tori and Andy hit it off well!
