This is what Andy was doing when I got home.…but not for long! Kitty food time!Bret took me to my oncologist’s appointment. Afterwards, we ate huge Mexican meals at Rosita’s in Scottsbluff. The blended lime margarita I had was very alcoholic, so I’m glad I wasn’t driving. Bret had a safer lemonade.Barb and Dr. Tzan. Barb guides patients through the complexities of breast cancer, and is very good at it. Dr. Tzan is the oncologist. She explained options I had coming…radiation or lower-strength pills because I’m a dialysis patient, too. Both ladies are lots of fun while doing a serious job. I appreciate that!I can be serious for a moment.

Yes, the options came as a surprise. I’ll learn more about them later.
It’s when you see little “strings” sprouting on the bottom of the pretty clouds that you start looking for vshelter! I can imagine the terror 19th Century Travellers through this area must have felt wjlhen one of our gully washers happened. I’ve been in s car, sitting through one, and it is very alarming. You literally have to.pull.off the road because it gets so dark and intense. Toss in hail, and it’s hell on eearth!
Many thanks to Brett, Barb and Dr. Tzan for being such great friends in your life… makes a world of difference. And thanks again, Doug, for those beautiful photographs… very uplifting! Hugs to you dear Andy…
Rick and I have only seen the flat part of Nebraska along I-80. Those clouds sure are beautiful, and one can see the weather a long way off.
Doug, I am glad to hear the appointment went well and you have options to consider.

I remember some intense storms from our trips across the country.
Glad you had a driver and that your medical team is caring.
Andy was looking for you! It’s good to have pleasant medical people, and great friends like Brett! Those are impressive skies for sure!
