Just plain ice water in my cup, but…

Yep! It is familiar. Andy takes a sip (camera failed me – missed the shot – his head was all the way in the mug)…
…and hops onto the end table to groom himself.
This was a new one on me. He never takes a sip or tastes anything he checks out. Now I have a cup of ice water the cat’s sipped. Dang! I guess I won’t finish this one!
What did you find in Mr. Doug’s mug, Andy? Sometimes I drink out of my mom’s water glass that she leaves out on the table. And sometimes I whap at it to do important research. Tee hee hee.
Cold water, though that doesn’t interest him if he has to stick his mug all the way in to get at it…
We try to taste our Mom’s water all the time. It hasn’t killed her yet. Purrs, Snoops and Kommando Kitty
LOL! I’ve probably consumed kitty cooties in my food since I got my first cat in 2009! I just don’t like knowing it before or after…!

Know what’s funny? I would probably finish it, if one of my cats did that.. provided there is no fur in it.

We like ice in our water when it is very hot, but hot it is not!

It’s the same source. I even pour ice water from my jog in his water dish and share ice from the same ice tray.
A new sort of water, containing ice, I guess it’s only natural that a kitty would check that out!
It isn’t new since I share the same ice water in his water dish. I put ice cubes in his water fountain, for that matter, but his interest is in my glass with ice water, of course!
Maybe Andy would like a small bowl of water with crushed ice?
I put ice cubes in his water, and he does show some interest in that.

Cats are so curious. He smelled it, no smell, so he had to taste it.
On a hot day, that ice water was refreshing for me…and Andy!
