I took a four hour one myself today. Dialysis, it is said, is as exhausting as running a marathon. I’ve never run one so can’t verify that but I do know you can be alert right after it, then, like a switch being flipped off, fatigue so heavy you almost can’t get to a bed sets on.
Dialysis has one major advantage: without it I’d be dead! I’ve been on it since February 2016. Each as every day since is one I count as a blessing, a day I didn’t have before dialysis saved my life.

I think about my father who died at 59. I’m 60 and know that every day is a day that he didn’t have so I need to enjoy each one.

My parents died in their 90s but my older sister was barely in her 80s and my brother in his late 70s when they died. My other sister and I are hanging in there for our 90s if it works out that way.

I hope you both hang in there and have a good quality of life.

A sequence of moves clearly showing Mr Andy’s intentions.
Yes. I started out getting backed out of putting my blog together by a computer update. Ugh! Nothing like updates when you are about to do something fun! I’m watching the news to lighten my update-bitten mood. LOL! As for a nap, I have a doctor’s appointment later this morning so ca n’t risk sleeping past it. I got a great night’s sleep last night, which helps.
I agree, Andy has the right idea. Nap time is good!
I took a four hour one just this afternoon! Dialysis really zonks you out.
He’s got the right idea.

I never fall asleep when I try to nap. I wish I could, especially now. I can’t stop yawning.
I don’t recommend my method – dialysis – for getting sleepy! LOL!
I agree. I’m sorry you have to go through that.

…from point A to point B! I was desperate for anything for today’s post.
Mr Andy obliged, and the post came out just fine.
Barely!
😻
Lazy kitty, just sleepin’ the day away. 😂
Lucky kitty!
Glorious tail, yay! Computer updates, blah!
Computer updates…! Anyway, Andy’s tail is fabulous, I agree!
For you, too?

That long, sweeping tail!
Andy’s pride and joy!
