Andy doesn’t like to be held, so he hopped off the ottoman.
There are Greenies on the floor back there. Andy knocks them off the ottoman when he hops onto or off the ottoman. He ignores them.
Or does he? He didn’t get to eat any treats on the ottoman before I reached out to pick him up…

Today is Veterans Day in the USA. It is the day Americans honor the men and women who serve or have served in the military.

Ha!Ha! Andy stopped by a short time later and gave me his, “Well? Where are the Greenies?” look.
When I didn’t put treats out fast enough for the little darling, he hopped onto the floor behind the ottoman and is still there, eating Greenies he’s ignored before.
Those floor treats tasted just fine!
So now he needs to finish those ottoman treats!
Perhaps Andy is attempting to coax a real mousie out of hiding so he can show you one he caught 🙂
That was my thought when Lou Carreras said his kitties hid a stash of treats!

One of my cats would stash a secret supply hidden away. We’d find the stashes when cleaning.
Oh no! Maybe they were “fishing” for mousies!
I think the current two are doing that.
He’s so cute as always, Doug, but I wish he would let you hold him. I wonder why he doesn’t like that?
I think it goes back to when he and Dougy were kittens with diarrhea. All those baths to clean poop out of their hair may be the reason.
That makes sense, Doug. Cats love water, right?
Andy loves the treats, eats them when he wants to.

Just so long as Andy gets ALL the treats, each and every one, then all’s well!
He still wastes a lot of them. I think once he’s tried to luck them into place to take into his mouth and fails, that treat is too yucky later.
