We had to wait till an examination room was available.Andy needed some uplifting at that point. So did I.When we got the room and Andy got put out on the examination table, there was another short wait. I rubbed his ears and head to help his mood.Kind of happy Andy….The technician came in, and we both gave Andy some loving. After weighing Andy – he’d added 0.4 pounds,up from 9.1 pounds last visit, which pleased Dr. Olejnik and me because he had been getting thinner and thinner. After being away for blood to be taken, Andy had another wait since Dr. Olejnik was with a cow inneed. The wait was too much for Andy. He kept eyeing his carrier and trying to get off the examination table. I knew he wanted to secure himself inside the carrier by this point, which he did all by himself when I put it on the examination table!Pay the lady! Now, since his doctor is still with the cow, I am waiting for a call about the bloodwork and blood pressure.
=(^+^)=
I got a new, tight door yesterday.
My new door latch latches tight!
=(^+^)=
Of course, so many flies got in during installationofthenewdoor – it’s the season – that I spent over forty minutes killing those that I couldn’t get to go to the door, where I let them out. I remembered, too, that I had fly paper, one sheet of which I hung near the kitchen sunk window. Two are stuck to it now.
You can nearly see them on the lower right corner. There! Maybe it was three captures…

I still haven’t heard all of the results. For the cost if the visit, that isn’t acceptable, though I imagine they were good since no call came last Friday and no letter yet, either. I wanted to talk with his veyerinarian about a few things, too.
The latch, Andy, and you look great! “Tight” lol … Andy getting back into his carrier made me snicker. And I’m so glad he gained a bit! Love that fluff, Doug 😀 ~ Happy Friday !!!
What about blood work and blood pressure? Is everything in order?
Glad to hear about the door.
A Cow? That’s pretty cool. Was it actually inside the vets office?
No, they have a large animal clientele that they serve in an additional barn behind the clinic for small animals.
That is good news on Andy’s weight! And I am glad to hear you got the door fixed.
Yes, the two concerns were very worrisome. I’m still killing flies that got in when the door was replaced. Ugh!
Hope the results are good!

Good news about both Andy’s weight and the door
Great that both issues, are improved since earlier! I was especially worried about Andy’s weight.
Poor Andy ! The critters understand waiting even less than we do. He wouldn’t get it that the doctor literally “had a cow.”
I think he understood less why he was denied food after 12 midnight till after his clinic visit!
Great about the weight. We also had a black cat with long fur. They look so much bigger than they are with that mass of fur.
Yes, it is shocking if you aren’t expecting a thin cat under the mass!

Good to hear that Andy gained some weight! That looks like a good solid latch!
Yes, that was a relief about Andy. The door latch is much appreciated!

So much to celebrate, eh? I’m pleased Andy regards the carrier as safe territory because it is a lot simpler putting him in it now.
