Andy is a very smart kitty. Every time I come up with a strategy to catch him, he comes up with a way to avoid capture.

…and a suspicious kitty – Andy’s ready to bolt!

Andy is a very smart kitty and has developed an evasive strategy!
He knows me well!!

I originally commented “cats need no clocks” but that seems to have got lost
Weird things happen. Anyway, this one posted! Yes, cat clocks do seem to be there. Andy is more predictable about times important to him than I am.

I think cats can read minds. My Brody always knows when I am planning to drug him.
It is uncanny!

Such smart little animals they are! Such a challenge to medicate, always!
Tomorrow’s post is a documented case of it….

I assume he should get his medication. You have to either find a way to reduce his hatred of it or just work around his avoiding it.
Or rehome him. Sometimes I get so frustrated trying to just get the job done rhat this unthinkable thought comes to mind. There are risks to me of falling or tripping in the process of catching him. He don’t like it even though the medicine supposedly is chicken flavored.
Torrow’s post is a success story for me medicating a kitty smart enough to figure out it was time to get medicated and get into a spot difficult for this mildly disabled human to catch him.

They can smell when you are going to do something, whether it’s medications or carting them up for a trip to the vet. They know!
That is very true. I true not to give visual ot auditory hints of what’s to come.
