=(^+^)=
I’ve been binge watching “Celebrity Antiques Road Trip” this week.
I thought I’d watched the most recent seasons of this BBC program, but realized new ones have been added since I last watched any.
I
One clue I was watching more recent ones came when one of the participants referred to “the late beloved queen.” She died in September of 2022.
Of course, I was more surprised when I noticed the copyright years 2023-2024 on another season! I was unaware the year old series was available here.
Wishing you and Andy a beautiful day, Doug! Hope that yellow rose grows back quickly for you.
The rose and it’s suckers are doing fine. There will br a hedge of them instead of a single bush!

That’s a loooong drive. Doug. 😂
Doug, are you subscribed to BritBox? I enjoy the British version of the show, but the US version seems to be staffed by grifters. I think there was a scandal several years ago where it was discovered some of the “experts” had grossly overestimated the value of some items appearing on the show. I’m not an expert myself, but I’ve done my share of antiquing, and at times I’ve snorted at the evaluations given.
No, It is available on PBS on my Roku “telly.” I believe it is on line for free. It’s been awhile since I set it up..
It’s worth having because it comes with all of the Ken Burns documentaries and all of the regular series and prorrams. It’s a handy way to stream earlier programs.

A comfortable routine for Andy … Haven’t watched any TV for a long time, just movies, or various shows done in series … But Antiques Roadshow was something we used to watch …
I used to watch that show too, it was good!
Yes!

This is the BBC version, of which there is one with two experts who compete to make the biggest profit (for charity) in auctions of items they each buy in antique shops all over the UK and a celebrity version where celebrities rarely familiar to audiences other than UK audiences are matched up with experts and do the same thing to sell in auctions for money for charity. Both are interesting for showing the countryside and historic cities of England, Wales, Scotland. NZrthern Ireland, Fire, Isle of Wight, Isle Man [with its capital of Douglas, I must note!], the Channel Islands, and any other bits I’ve missed and what shows up in antique shops there, very different than Antinques Roadshow items individuals bring in for evaluations.
I watch lots of movies myself since over 200 channels available of my Spectrum channel mostly are crap I never bother with. TCM, however, has lots of great material to watch.
