Andy hid most of the day. I looked and looked for him! Then, later, about three in the afternoon……he showed up!Lucky Andy! I had his medicine available. I caught him on the ottoman, held him on his back without wrapping him in a towel, and put the medicine into his mouth.
He started to run away when I let him down on the ottoman, then he stopped on the recliner, and looked at me for a moment.
He came back to the end table when he realized the thing he was running from – his medicine! – he’d just taken.
Smart kitty!

Cats get to know medication routines very quickly and develop evasive maneuvers. Little Andy is no exception.
They definitely figure medication routines out. Andy gives me challenges every day.

Nice try, Andy! But there’s really no escape from eek, medicine!
He gave it a very good effort, though!
