I set my tea down.Andy hops up on the ottoman to see what’s in the mug.Thinking about it….Is this for kitties? Before Andy gets too far into this inquiry, I remind him kitties don’t like tea! Or do they? I move the mug and he takes a nap. A close call!

Andy will lick.my fingers after I’ve eaten Cheetos, but I discourage it since it’s high sodium. He also likes to lick butter on plates, but I discourage that, too.
Isn’t that a picture of Andy on the cup?! If so no wonder he thought the contents might be his …. (Just kidding, I know perception of artwork is a task beyond kitties …)
Sometimes I think they would try to lick some things if given the opportunity. I did have one cat that liked cooked green peas. That was Mr. Austin.

I wonder if Andy would like it, Doug. He was sure interested in it.
He often sniffs my food and drink, licks his lips, but never tries to drink or eat it.
