18Nov25: nice ice…

Andy knows there’s ice in his future.
He hears me open the freezer door.
He hears me knock the ice tray on the counter to loosen the cubes.
He sees the plastic mug in my hand, the ice clinking softly as I move toward the front room.
Yes, the ice is refreshing when he eventually gets the mug, but he has to stop licking to let his tongue warm up!
Enough’s enough.
A quick clean up, then…
…the catnap.
Later, maybe a little television.

=(^+^)=

Andy had a more satisfying catnap once I moved the mug off the ottoman.

    • Whatever it is, the water comes from the Ogallala aquifer, which takes 10,000 years to percolate from points west. Turn that into ice and…?

    • If it’s on the lapboard, it tends to end up on the floor if I don’t supervise Andy. In the mug, he gets to enjoy the ice without interruptions. That means he gets a cold tongue.
