I think it’s too cute when Andy crosses his paws this way!

12Mar23: it’s a lapboard morning…
I stop by to watch Doug do what Doug does.
That’s less interesting than a scent left on the lapboard. What is it?
That was exhausting! Time for a kitty nap!
Nap’s done. Time to watch Doug again. Maybe he’ll bring out kitty toys! Hint! Hint!
No toys, but he did touch my nose!
Away on important kitty business.
Checking up on what Doug was doing while I was away.
A sound! time to leave the lapboard to check out the sound. It might be that cabinet mousie!
.=(^+^)=
There is no mouse in the cabinet, yet Andy never gives up hope of finding one there. After he checks the cabinets out, however, it’s time to take another nap. Or maybe eat a Greenie or two. It’s complicated being a wee kitty!
11Mar23: one of those days…
Today would have been my sister Marijean’s 85th birthday. I will spend the day thinking about her.
10Mar23: sleepy kitty boy, just up…
Andy dragged himself out of the bathroom and hopped up on the computer desk.
Not awake yet…
…till I started a “scritch” routine.
09Mar23: pouty kitty…
Andy’s being pouty today. I can’t figure out what he wants, so I guess he sits there and pouts till we start to communicate.
08Mar23: suppertime’s over…
Now, it’s time for – surprised? – a nap.
Not an exciting day today, just lots of routine.
07Mar23: kitty toys…
My sister’s kitty girl Saki love, love, loves her new toys but…
…she especially likes this one. My sister notes, “She’s giving me the ‘this is MINE’ look in the 2nd picture.”
Andy, on the other hand, has become very interested in an old toy tied to a ribbon.
KILL! KILL! KILL!
Amazingly, he even neglects his “precious” to attack the “whatchamacallit”!

I’m still in shock about the death of Michel Fauquet, Amiens, Normandy blogger and blogger friend. His health declined in recent times. He, too, was on dialysis, though his other health issues were more difficult than mine. He still made occasional posts in latter months, was looking forward to family visits and the coming gardening season. My wish for Michel’s wife Janine is the love of their family, a garden Michel would have been proud of, and the comfort of all the prayers and messages from Michel’s blogger family. He was a good and decent man.
06Mar23: just the right spot…
Reluctantly, Andy agrees to a head rub before naptime.
Yeah, that’s nice!
Purr! Purr! But rubbing that spot between the eyes is bliss!
=(^+^)=

05Mar23: the news…
Andy sometimes watches television with me.
Sometimes the news…
…is more than he can handle.
So he does what’s best for kitties –
– he takes a nap.
04Mar23: Ribbon!
Ribbon! Andy love, love, loves the stuff!
