Some days there’s nothing to tell.

I see Andy being a kitty…

…looking cute…

…doing kitty things.

I reflect on how he came into my life, how a little ball of fluff…

…grew, bringing me so much joy. I love my wee Andy!

Some days there’s nothing to tell.

…grew, bringing me so much joy. I love my wee Andy!

It starts out this way. Andy tears into it but can’t get it out.

But he tries!

A pause in his efforts.

He looks to me to play fair. (Hee! Hee! As if…!)

What the heck? I pull it out for my kitty boy. He deserves the reward! (Of course, when Andy tosses out his “Impossible To Ignore Kitten Eyes That Shame Humans Into Doing Anything” what am I to do?)

Woohoo! Andy gets what he wants. Now he knows what to do.

RAWR! Kill the straw!

Hey Andy! Wanna play?
I show Andy the straw. I know this will get his kitty up!
See what I mean? Andy love, love, loves to play “Catch the Straw”!

I have to be out of town today for a doctor’s appointment. Andy hasn’t told me his plans but I suspect it involves doing pretty much nothing!

There’s something about the wand toy wrapped up and pushed through a paper towel tube that trips Andy’s play/hunter button.

Rawr!

But (pun intended!) first…

Andy quickly lost interest in the first temptation, so I brought out the big guns: a bottle cap that I tossed out in the floor. While I fumbled around trying to get a photo, he batted it around like a proper striker trying to position for that perfect shot at the goal, then swatted it under the ottoman. Goal, for sure, but the “press” missed the winning shot!

Here’s Andy!

[Boop!]

[“Scritch”!]

[“Floof”]
Andy’s putting up with a lot today!

I guess fighters suggest birds to a kitty…

…though Andy loses interest when…

…the good guys sink a ship.

Gargoyle??? A bat???

Naw! It’s just Andy, a 100% kitty boy.

I share kitty videos with Andy. This one is about cat vocalizations and why they do it. Andy assured me it was old hat to him, but he noticed I don’t always “get it” when he tries to tell me something. I do “get” the chattering noise they make when there is prey outside, and Andy is interested in what the television kitties are chattering about!

Birds!

Well, Andy is getting a message from the television because his “horns” are up!

Boring! Andy already knows all this stuff.

Andy makes one last check. Those birds might just be real for a change. No. So he leaves the room. Nothing good on television!

In an attempt to prove or disprove the axiom “at night all cats are grey”, Mr. Hand photographs “a cat at night”. Ah ha! There’s “a cat” and it is night!

Looks black to me! (No cat was harmed making this post, though Andy insisted he earned some Greenies for cooperating.)
