A severe storm warning was issued for this area, to end around 10:30 pm July 4th. I am writing this in the mid-afternoon of the 4th of July holiday, so I have no idea what happened or if the predictions of hail, strong winds, property damage came true.

Andy and I just had to wait it out.
=(^+^)=
When I woke up the yesterday morning, I lazed in bed till I realized it was Tuesday, a dialysis day. I wrestled with the thought that it also was a holiday, but they hadn’t handed out a note giving us the alternative times to come in. I got cleaned up, though, because there was a chance I needed to go in, holiday or not!
It was a happy moment when I turned in to the hospital parking lot and I saw three familiar vehicles, all belonging to nurses at the unit. We had dialysis, I was there on time, and I learned the only holidays we switched times around on are Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Strangely, even though I’ve been on dialysis here since 2016, I hadn’t noticed this holiday pattern!
Glad to hear you got over to dialysis on time and were taken care of, Doug.
I have such odd sleeping patterns that I wonder if I will sleep late some day.
Sleep patterns can be hard to reset, and I used to cut the corners on sleep (sometimes still do out of necessity), but if you are able to get onto a more regular, solid pattern of sleep, it may help you feel better, and stronger.
I know that is true. I try to get into a better sleep pattern yet fight it.
I would title it “Awaiting the Storm, Featuring the Glorious Tail.”
I am you had your procedure and did get caught up in the storm, Doug.
It helped.
I had been bragging about getting new glasses. Well, I got them, but I see those typos still sneak in. I am embarrassed.
I recently got new glasses, too. Same issue! If we were ignorant or subliterate, we wouldn’t have this problem! LOL!
LOL Yes, but I still feel acutely embarrassed.
Glad the dialysis went as planned! Those severe storms can be scary indeed!
Not much frightens me but those big storms get the heart pounding!
two friends can wait it out… and they have eaxh other till the storm is tired ;O)
So true! It washed me VW anyway.
I’m pleased you weren’t disappointed
Thanks! Me, too!
