Andy looked…
…but he found no signs…
…of Halloween in our kitchen cabinets (…or mousies).
The neighbor’s frog isn’t dressed for the Halloween celebration, either.
OK! There’s the Halloween decorations!
This is close as we get to Halloween decorations on our side of the lane.
I love Halloween. I do a lot of decorating indoors, but not much outside because it gets ruined or blown away.
That’s what usually happens to my neighbor’s Halloween decorations.
Your & AND ANDY;S side of the lane is just fine…. AS LONG AS THERE IS CANDY….oh yes AND GREENIES.
No candy here since no kids show up. Greenies, though, are on hand for the resident kitty.
I don’t go to watch Ocean Drive parades for fear of being mowed down by the crowds, but if we sit in our courtyard, we can see all the fun costumed people walking by.
I don’t get any Halloween stuff where I live.
Do you miss it?
No. I am not a big holiday fan, this one in particular. It would be especially complicated for me to do treats unless I sat by the door, waiting, because of the oxygen line and having to use a walker to answer the door. I have better ways to use time.
There is almost no trick-or-treating here, but the parades are fun, colorful, and very creative.
There are parties for little kids but that seems to be all here.
We have many adults here who never grew up.
Curious.
Well, South Beach is called the European Playground, and playgrounds are for kids, rather than adults.
Andy must do his inspections! 🙂 Looks like autumn is in full swing where you are, Doug.
Yes, it hit overnight, all most!
I’ve been at this address for almost five years, and not one kid has come to my door for a treat. Apparently, Halloween is dying a slow death. 😂💀
OH JUST PUT OUT A SIGN MID-OCTOBER THAT SEZ “THERE BE CANDY,: Well it brought some back to my portion of the 100 acre wood.
GLGOLG! That would do it and would leave more money for regular-sized candy, not that so-called “Fun Size’!
My front door light is burned out and I haven’t replaced the bulb. The turned-on light is how the Halloweeners know they can stop for candy. Besides, there are Halloween parties for the little ones, for their safety, here.
It’s sad that kids aren’t safe now. We never had those issues back in the 60s as far as I can remember. 😢😢😢
Nor in my times in the fifties. It wasn’t unusual for some people to give out popcorn balls or fruit.
Both could be used to hurt children. I just don’t understand. 😢
Back then, people didn’t put harmful things in candy.
Amen.
We live with the old folks so no Halloween here either.
I live with the old folks here, too. I imagine the little folks figure no one will be passing out candy here.
But … SpongeBob! It’s always Hallowe’en in your house!
LOL! Spooky, eh?!
We don’t do Halloween decorations either
I never give out candy, either, though I’m not aware of any kids coming here or any of the other apartments.
Well, we won’t be decorating, ourselves, this year … I do like that metal cat figure! At least you have some red foliage … we’re only just beginning to see a few leaves turn yellow. Still very green here!
Lots of Autumnal colors here now, though many trees are done dropping their leaves.
maybe the frog needs a kiss for turning into a prince or a ghost?
Not on my watch!
