Andy doesn’t observe holidays, though he and Dougy were born on Canada Day, the 1st of July.
Flag Day happens to be that other really old guy, Donald J. Trump’s birthday. Happy 78th Birthday, Donald! You are nine months older than me, and I am older than dirt. Biden, too, was born when dinosaurs walked the earth.
Interesting, isn’t it, that in country with 340,000,000 people, the best the two major parties can do is run guys who should be out fishing!
But back to Flag Day. The world knows we have this thing about flying the Old Glory, the Stars and Stripes, so it isn’t any odder that we also celebrate the anniversary of the adoption of the flag on June 14th, 1777.
=(^+^)=
Andy actually worked at taking mats out of his armpit. I am impressed how much he accomplished
Andy is a late Cancer (The Crab). Now I realise what inspired his marvellous selection of talking expressions. Haha!
It’s all.those treats…. Doug
We just have to issue them, though Doug. With eyes like that looking at you. Hehehe!
I always forget Flag Day. I wonder that too how our 2 candidates should be well into retirement.
It isn’t an official Federal holiday.
Doug
I have no issue with anyone’s age. How about “Spock-Tuvok 2024. Make America Logical Again”? Time to call in the Vulcans! 🙂
Ha,ha,ha! Live long and prosper, Lavinia! X
Like Gerry says!
Doug
Yes, I should be out fishing, too. Have a good day, Doug.
Me, too!
Doug
Couldn’t get the music, but it’s on YouTube. Happy Flag Day to you and Andy!
I can’t either, though it shows on my draft…. The other video of Andy working on mats in his armpit also doesn’t play for me though it does in the draft. I get tired of this sort of thing.
Doug
I like the “out fishing” observation
Thanks, Derrick. When Reagan ran in his late 60s, my uncle in his late 80s scoffed, “He’s too old to run for president!” I thought that was amusing. Now, I get it! As it turned out, Reagan began to showsihns of dementia in the second term. While that can onset at younger ages, it illustrates why an extensive cognitiv4 test be done on candidates past retirement age! Seriously! On candidate sounds like he may be suffering early dementia when he speaks without a teleprompter. Scary.

As a race, we don’t learn from history
Some of our elected representatives also appear to be “too young” in temperament. Neither chronological age nor position seems to factor in there. The lack of training in basic civility and ability to work with others for the common good is rather disturbing.
