Andy turns 13 today! His plans are to do what he does every day: stare at Doug; eat Greenies; sleep in weird positions; hit the ‘nip; check the kitchen cabinets for “mousies”; bug Doug; start all over.

While you might expect me to do something special for Andy’s big day, I’ve found Andy prefers normal patterns so strongly that he doesn’t like changes.

When I’ve tried birthday gifts and special activities in past, he has a “meh!” attitude toward them, kind of like me and my birthdays. That’s my kitty!

Of course, play time and being weird are parts of it, too.
