I set my yogurt down on the lapboard and my coffee on the end table.
Andy, of course, came along and was up on the ottoman in an instant.
Good thing my yogurt wasn’t open yet! Never mind! Andy just wanted to take his kitty bath.
My turn to..
…interrupt…
…Andy, and “scritch” his neck and chin! Yogurt and coffee can wait a little longer.
Andy gets his Greenies first, then I’ll take care of me!

I guess it’s known that I rarely eat at the table. If I do, I keep in mind not to place food or utensils on the surface since Andy is used to putting his little butt on it when he eats and sniffs his ‘nip.
He hasn’t mastered eating grass yet. Dang those whiskers!
That doesn’t stop looking at the grass and contemplating strategies.
Poor Andy!
Maybe he’ll get some now….
Awwww! No, he failed again.
There is another possibility.
I offer Andy some ‘nip on my finger. He licks it off and is happy again!

An air conditioner issue caused leakage into the apartment. Andy’s favorite scratcher was ruined when it soaked up water, as were some other items.
I was unaware of routine maintenance, not being that handy in the house, and filter cleaning is required. No one told me this, and I’ve never seen a manual for the machine.
So…. I give up! I reported it to the maintenance fellow. He is on vacation till next Tuesday. I will need to have him show me how to open the machine to access the filter. I tried. I haven’t figured out how to open it, and it would be like me to break something trying.
I tried to access a manual to learn this trick, but I only found one that was going to cost me a fee. All I want to know is that one thing.
=(>+<)=
Yeah, and I still haven’t finished setting up my new laptop.

The head! The head!Purr! Purr! Move down the neck, too, please!
Gracious me! That spot between the eyes!
Yes! Basic kitty petting on the back works, too. Then, put out the Greenies!
=(^+^)=
There are other happy ways to please Andy. These are just the ones he wants most after the first thing each morning up-and-down-the-back massage with the fingers that lasts until Andy decides it’s over. It can last till I have to change hands two or three times to relieve finger fatigue. Andy love, love, loves this one!

He just wanted to say “Meow!” then head out for important kitty business.
What?! Don’t want any Greenies before you go?
Cats are mysterious creatures!

It’s too early, I guess because Andy plopped down for a nap on the ottoman instead of eating treats.
He woke up…
…and looks like he’ll hit those Greenies after all!
I guessed wrong.
Well, it is way too early! Andy is conked out again! Maybe I should go back to bed, too, though once I’m up, I usually stay up.

I won’t spend a lot of time trying to get the laptop set up today, just as much as it takes to start getting stressed out.
I waited 85 days to even start working on the setup. That’s how unpleasant I find the process!

On the 85th day after I got my new laptop, I decided to try to set it up. Some progress made but lots of steps to go. Yes, it was a grueling, nasty, unfun, stressful hour or so, with new passwords required and double security on some things to get through.
Ugh!
I will continue to be “Anonymous” when replying to comments, with Doug added so you know it’s really me.

Try as he could, Andy had difficulty eating grass. The whiskers on his Persian face kept getting in the way.
I tried helping, but those whiskers…! I hope he works it out.

A short nap on the end table over, Andy hops onto the ottoman.
What? What? What? These weren’t there before!
Andy sniffs the treats.
Even Greenies can’t stop Andy for long when he knows his wet food awaits him elsewhere!
On the other hand, there they are.
Andy needs to think this one over….
Well done, Andrew! Well done!

Andy wanted me to follow him. He whined and pat my arm with urgency!
I beat him to the kitchen area, thinking it must be something he wanted there….
“What is it, Andrew? You want to check the cabinets for mousies…again!? No?”
“You didn’t finish your wet kitty food and your water is topped off and flowing, so that can’t be that.”
“Plenty of ‘nip’s out on the table. Not that”
I decided his problem was that he was tired and fussy. After his urgency to get me to follow him, there was no reason I could discern other than somebody’s kitty boy is really manipulative and very, very spoiled! But he’s my kitty boy, and I love his floofy self.

It’s been a hot week again. Just walking from the handicap parking spot to the hospital main door, a relatively short walk, I was sweating like a stevadore! Of course, stepping out of an air-conditioned car into Summer heat, then back into an air-conditioned hospital lobby, it was bound to happen!
(Not to worry! I was there for the catscan ordered by my pulmonologist who wanted it done so he has a baseline look at my lungs now that I’m his new patient. I have a new pulmonologist because my old one retired. People with my medical issues typically have several specialists monitoring and treating them as needed. I currently am in remission, so my routine is occasional blood tests and checkups. Of course, because of kidney issues, I have dialysis three times a week.)
