With a flourish of his magnificent plume, Andy stops by.

He pauses…

“These are from earlier, Doug!”

“They aren’t any older or more stale than those in the tub, buster!” I note. Andy is so spoiled!

Andy tries to grasp this point of view. Then he ran off to do other kitty stuff.
=(^+^)=
Andy expects me to put more Greenies out with those he didn’t eat earlier. He wastes too many this way.
=(^+^)=
I made another batch of blueberry muffins that turned out better than the first batch. I gave two to my neighbor, Bret, who helps bring my groceries in if he sees I am doing it by myself. I’d eat all of them in no time if I didn’t share, something my chunky body doesn’t need!
=(^+^)=

Yes, those Greenies in front are the ones that Andy rejected in the earlier photos. The ones he ate are the “new ones” by him. Spoiled rotten, I note again.
I suggest putting the old Greenies back in the canister or bag. That might make him think they are new next time.
All thee photos are terrific, but the first two and the last one are the best.
Have you tried putting yesterday’s Greenies back into the jar and shaking the jar?
I do that with kittie treats, and even Pyshka gets fooled.
I’ll give that a try! I do put the new ones in a pile of ghecold ones and mix them together. That sometimes works.
Doug
It’s the proportion that works, I think. Even Pyshka is fooled, and she is usually very finicky.
Your Andy is too smart 🤓 he knows how to give posse! 😁😁
I guess being 13 years old for a cat means they have all the tricks perfected!
Doug
👍
Not spoiled!
Not much! LOL!
Doug
Cats seem to know when the can of food has been refrigerated, or the treats out for more then 30 minutes. 🙂
It’s uncanny how well they can discern those facts!
Doug
He has you well-trained 🙂
Absolutely so!
Doug
So handsome and spolit! The muffins look so delicious, Doug!
They were very tasty! I’ll never use the canned blueberries as long as fresh are available.
Andy works me for all he’s worth!
Doug
I’ll be over to try the muffins! 🤙🏻😂
Huh. He’s getting particular about the freshness of his snacks.
He eventually gives in if I’m patient enough. Not always, though….
Doug
My wife gets on me a lot because I give them very little kibble and let their bowls go down to nothing before I add more. I know if food sits in the bowl too long, they won’t eat it.
That’s a fact
Andy wastes too much food if I give him precisely how he is hungry for. Of course, thr precisely amount is variables unknowable to mere humans.
Doug
When growing up we couldn’t have pudding until we had finished our first course. Would that work for him?
Ironically, once the enforcers were at the care center, they ate dessert first in case they were too full after the main meal.
Maybe he’d be happier if Greenies were made in individual packs – as in one per pack, and humans had to unwrap multiple prior to serving? I know that Catorze would love it if his treats were served that way.
Ugh! I’d not like it.
Doug
Our place is not to like or dislike. Our place is to give them what they want.
Ha! That sounds alot like something out cats do, too! They indicate they want to be fed when there is already food in their bowls!
Yes, that’s how it is here, too, Leah!
