I guess it’s known that I rarely eat at the table. If I do, I keep in mind not to place food or utensils on the surface since Andy is used to putting his little butt on it when he eats and sniffs his ‘nip.

He hasn’t mastered eating grass yet. Dang those whiskers!

That doesn’t stop looking at the grass and contemplating strategies.

Poor Andy!

Maybe he’ll get some now….

Awwww! No, he failed again.

There is another possibility.

I offer Andy some ‘nip on my finger. He licks it off and is happy again!
=(^+^)=
An air conditioner issue caused leakage into the apartment. Andy’s favorite scratcher was ruined when it soaked up water, as were some other items.
I was unaware of routine maintenance, not being that handy in the house, and filter cleaning is required. No one told me this, and I’ve never seen a manual for the machine.
So…. I give up! I reported it to the maintenance fellow. He is on vacation till next Tuesday. I will need to have him show me how to open the machine to access the filter. I tried. I haven’t figured out how to open it, and it would be like me to break something trying.
I tried to access a manual to learn this trick, but I only found one that was going to cost me a fee. All I want to know is that one thing.
=(>+<)=
Yeah, and I still haven’t finished setting up my new laptop.
I am sorry about your AC problem, Doug. I hope it will get resolved soon.
Have you tried snipping some grass and offering it to Mr Andy?
I am sorry to hear about the AC problem, Doug! Labor Day weekend is a bad time to have issues with it.
John may be on to something there, Andy might like the grass cut into small pieces.
That stinks about the a/c leaking. The landlord should have told you about that when you moved in or have the maintenance person deal with everyone’s filters.
Would cutting the grass with scissors into small bits help Andy eat the grass? I always hire a pro to do work on my heating and cooling which was completely replace two years ago.
I’ll bet you can Google or YouTube how to change the filter. I’ve found numerous answers and solutions that way.
That grass is captivating to Andy. I hope the AC problem gets solved.
I wouldn’t have the first idea about maintenance
my mom bought a grass bowl for the cat of my aunt… it was new for the cat so he used it as a litterbox LOL
Ha! Sounds about right! Cattitude.
Doug
At least Andy got some ‘nip, but it would be nice if he could somehow get to the cat grass, too. Sorry to hear about the problem with the AC.
We figured out how to help Andy get some grass. He still fails a few times out of every try. Those whiskers are pesky!
