As many of you know, Andy hate, hate, hates being held, let alone being hugged.

He struggles to get away.

He is obsessed about escape.

He forms plans, some involving teeth and claws….

He pretends he “likes” it, but that is just a prelude to…

…ESCAPE!!!
Silly Andy!
And darned Huggable Andy is!
I wish!
I can see the thoughts forming behind those little cat eyes! I warn the vets that Wynken will go along with being held, then suddenly power dive! She got away on one vet clinic that way when she was much younger, and they spent an hour chasing her around the clinic.
Dougy used to vacate the examination table the instant you opened the carrier. He was an Explorer cat, though. Once he’d explored the room, he’d hop back up on the examination table and wait patiently.
That is sweet. Most of my cats don’t like hugs and they shake it off when I let them get down. 🙂
My Cyril used to do that, too. Haha! But the sound of his mega-purring was worth it. Bless them.
Andy mostly soft-purrs, though he has a loud one he reserves for when I find a spit he really likes scratched!
Yeah! Kind of ungrateful if you ask me!
Every cat has it’s own personality just like we do, I wish Andy was more into being held since you take such good care of him, Doug.
Earlier kitties spoiled me onto thinking all cats enjoyed being held….
I guess they don’t, how snooty of them! 😂
A cat has the right to not want to be held, but one still wants to hold them.
Spot-on!
A fine sequence
Much appreciated! Thanks, Derrick!
he is a real panther LOL
He has had lots of practice escaping @
Wow, that was a fast getaway!
Andy’s a pro!
