And how!

Holly brought Andy back from ultrasound.

Andy’s blood pressure is down, if still just outside normal range. Eye pressure in his right eye is a bit elevated, but his left eye is in the normal range. The ultrasound found things mostly ok, with one artery in his liver a bit enlarged. (I am not sure that was what I heard.) Anyway, he is to return for a check-up on the 16th to see if there has been further improvement in his blood pressure and hyperthyroidism.
Sounds good so far – glad to hear!
Yes! I was pleased!
Glad to hear Andy is improving
Me, too! He got mostly good reports.
Keeping little Andy in my thoughts and prayers, Doug. I am glad to hear his numbers are going the right direction.
I was especially happy his retinal are in excellent condition at his age, even with the higher pressure in one eye. He has very good hearing., too. His thyroid medicine tube makes a soft click when you turn the know to get the medicine onto the applicator. Sitting a good distance from a sleeping Andy, he woke up, looked my way, and ran to hide when he heard my click the applicator!
It’s good that his health is improving. I hope it continues to improve.
I feel encourages, especially since I sometimes sleep through his night session or have difficulty finding him during the day.
Glad Andy is healthy.
Oh, me, too!
WE are glad to hear Andy’s checkup went reasonably well and send purrayers that the follow-up brings some good news too.
I’ve been encouraged!
I hope all test results remain improved!!
That they have been!
Oh my goodness, there’s full-on cuddling going on at your vet’s! No such thing at mine. It’s all bloodshed and carnage at mine.
He’s a flirtatious kitty!
My cat Mollie (RIP) had an ultrasound. The vet called me in and showed me her organs while she was on her back on a cradle sending me daggers! Nothing showed up but she was not happy about the ordeal. She spent considerable time cleaning her belly.
So did Andy, but he was a very good kitty during the procedure.
Delightful pictures, Doug
Thanks, Derrick! I had a fun time taking them, thanks to the two ladies and my kitty!
Yes, I want such a vet like yours… I am so glad for the reports, seems that good as a cat in this age. Andy deserves everything now, did great at there…. Thank you dear Doug, Love and Hugs to you both, nia
I’m am very fortunate that both Dr. Olejnik and Dr. Ylander (Andy’s veterinarian for most of his life who is near retirement) have or are such fine doctors for little animals like a
Andy! Dr. Ylander did the ultrasound.
Good to see a kitty so relaxed and comfy at the vet! And a pretty good report for the little guy, too!
I feel better myself that Andy handles being at the veterinarian’s as well as he does, too! Of course, I was happy with the report.
Overall, Andy is doing good, Doug. Hi Andy! 😻
Hi, John! Yes, it is encouraging he’s doing this well at his age! He doesn’t have any disabilities many cats have at 13 or younger, and, as an end term kidney disease patient myself, I am pleased he has good kidney function within the normal range. I guess Dr. Ylander putting him on prescription wet food formulated to help minimize development if kidney issues several years ago did the job!
That’s amazing! Andy is lucky to have you, Doug. ❤️
I try, John. Thanks!
You’re welcome, Doug. 🤙🏻😊
you get social media servive at the vet? wow… we want such a vet too…
Yes, it’s pretty good anywhere in this area. The clinic is a few miles outside of town, as a matter of fact, and I shot and saved all my photos taken while there. I even began doing my posts for the three parts while there, too. It helped me keep busy while we waiting for Andy to come back from the ultrasound examination.
