Yeah, I had that doctor’s appointment yesterday. That was mostly a follow-up. I will have a new appointment for the lung test that will be done in Alliance.
I felt tired mid-afternoon, so took a nap that lasted till 1:15 this morning! Wow! I was more worn out than I realized.
WhenI went to fix poor Andy some wet food, I confronted a sink full of dirty dishes and pots from the past two days…. That was my goid morning so far!

Andy can’t believe I’d think of not giving his fans some glimpse of what he was doing!
(Yeah, a bit thin today, though.)

…and now he’s too pooped to put on a kitty show for the blog.

This is a busy week. Ugh! I have something outside home to do every day till this coming Sunday. Today, it’s drive to Scottsbluff for a lung function test with Dr. Patel. my pulmonologist.

Of course, Thursday and Saturday are dialysis days, leaving Friday. Friday is the monthly Class of 1966 luncheon. I’m taking an apple pie that I’ll need to bake Thursday after dialysis or take a chance I’ll wake up early enough to bake and cool it early Friday morning. I think I better bake it after dialysis! Beef stew and chili are on the menu this time.

Here’s a quirky local (Nebraska?) culinary treat: chili and a cinnamon bun. The combination seems odd, yet it’s like waffles and fried chicken – try it, and it makes sense!

This photo of the late Dougy popped up on Facebook. He was an ornery kitty, but I sure miss him.

You know…we have seen this one before, Andy! It’s a good one, with a big surprise at the end!

…taking his afternoon post-snack nap!

=(>+<)=
I managed to show up a week early for a medical appointment on Tuesday. That’s what happens when appointments have to be scheduled on dialysis days, in the afternoon. That’s why I never schedule anything on dialysis days, especially in the afternoon, but it turns out the echogram person only comes to town on my dialysis day.
I was able to reschedule it for the 4th of February at 10:15. Not totally ideal, but closer to when I get out of dialysis, I should be able to get there on time, on the right date!

(I want to note that the rescheduled appointment happened because Gary, the sign-in guy, thoughtfully put me in contact with the radiology people while I was still fussing and flustered at his window. I appreciate what Gary did since he could have just told me I was there on the wrong day and left it me to fugure out what to do next. If you know Gary, thank him for the job he does. He is Employee if the Month as far as I’m concerned!)

Looks like Andy’s spending the day here.
